I redid the family/living room last year and I'm still loving it. As with everything in our home, it has been a work in progress! If there is anything I would like to change at this point, I would like to replace the sofa and recliner with a pretty, neutral sectional sofa along the window wall?curving towards the half wall.?The TV?would be?on the?wall (hopefully bigger) and maybe a small cabinet to store the Wii, cable box, and DVD player. I can dream, right?
So, here's it is as of now:
This is our fireplace and mantle.
We are eventually going to renovate it.
We would like the base to be all wood and have a more elaborate mantle.
For now, I really do love it!
Our home is a split level. When you enter the front door, you walk up the stairs to our living room.
We painted the walls a light blue to open the whole area up.
