Job description
The successful candidate will manage a team responsible for profit attribution analysis and reporting to explain P&L swings for all trading businesses. This team is the key contact for P&L explanations which requires deep knowledge of capital market products and P&L.
The Senior Manager will provide leadership and guidance with a daily focus on developing and executing goals and objectives regarding employee performance, business delivery, operational effectiveness, internal business partner relationship management, change management.
??Ensure that the reports are generated in a timely manner with accuracy and the results are delivered to the trading desk heads, business and risk management
??Provide consultative services for the business partners
??Develop and implement standards and procedures
??Ensure the identification of profit attribution analysis control risks and gaps, and ensure appropriate action plans are in place to address the risk and are escalated when necessary
??Assess and manage profit attribution analysis production to mitigate risks and exposures
??Ensure the team understand risks along with the regulatory and compliance requiremetns
??Develop and implement change management plans to execute continuous improvement
??Ensure cost-effectiveness of all activities
Who we are looking for
??Masters in mathematical finance/financial engineering or equiv.
??5+ years of P&L valuation and analysis experience with strong working knowledge of capital markets trading products and business
??3+ years of hands-on managerial experience
??Sound understanding of trading product systems and financial engineering framework of derivatives, fixed income, equity, FX, and structured products
??Effective communication skills and relationship management skills
??Strong time management, change management capabilities
