Brazilian barbecue is at Agora! ? Mel Lim // Design + Business ...

Brazilian barbecue is at Agora!

It?s been one month since I left Brazil and arrived in the U.S to take my Business Management Certificate Program at UC San Diego. So far I have been experiencing such great moments as well as learning about Business in the U.S and also Design, which I have been sharing with you on MLD?s blog. A very special and unforgettable moment happened last week when I went with my boyfriend?s family to a restaurant called Churrascaria Agora, strategically located at 1830 Main Street in Irvine, Orange County, to celebrate my 28th birthday. It?s the first time that I spent my birthday without my Brazilian family and it was very important to have great people with me.

MLD designed Agora?s website last year, suggested to celebrate my birthday at a Churrascaria, a traditional Brazilian barbecue restaurant, to feel like being home. It was a great idea and I had a wonderful time!

Agora's website designed by MLD.

Agora Churrascaria exceeded my expectations offering a top service in terms of quality of the food, similarity with Brazilian traditions and, as a requirement for any restaurant to succeed in the U.S , an EXCELLENT customer service!

Traditional, friendly and extremely delicious!
This traditional Brazilian barbecue restaurant serves a variety of juicy and fresh meats on skewers, a delightful salad bar, black bean stew (our delicious feijoada) and also shrimps, clams with olive oils, chicken stroganoff, garlic rice, salmon, mussels, saut?ed collard greens and mashed potatoes.

Agora is the ideal dining place for those who love a typical Brazilian food and appreciate a high quality service in a friendly and fine ambiance. For appetizer, customers can taste the bread cheese, originally from Minas Gerais state and later spread out to the whole country, and also the tasteful banana with sugar and cinnamon.

The Churrasco menu includes Fil? com bacon (Filet wrapped in bacon), Alcatra (tender cut from the top sirloin), Maminha (tri-tip steak roasted to tenderness), Costela de Carnerio (lamb chops), Lombo de Porco (seasoned pork loin), Fil? (Filet mignon cut from the tenderloin), the exotic chicken hearts, and of course the succulent and famous Picanha (traditional Brazilian cut of sirloin).
Based on the Rodizio system, Agora provides customers with a continuous style service known as ?all you can eat?. Customers from all over the world come to Agora to experience this amazing food and sensations from the south of Brazil.

For desert the suggestion is the unique A?a?. This delicious fruit from Amazon served in a bowl like a sorbet, is definitely a must!

With more than 600 fans on Facebook, Agora?s profile is constantly updated with special events, awards, and several comments from customers about their great experience there, what did they like the best and also recommendations. Last year, Agora won the award from OC Weekly Best of 2011, for being the Best Steakhouse in Orange County, and it really is!

Drop by and enjoy it!
